APPLICATION AND PRINCIPLE DATA

Equipped with state of the art technical machineries and equipment includes the most efficient and effective technology the DCI currently manufactures a high quality range of middle and small range gun barrels for heavy machine guns, machines guns, anti-material rifles, snipers, semi-automatic rifles and hand guns.

CALIBERS

The production of barrels range starts from 5.56 mm up to 30 mm.

MATERIALS

Everything starts from material and DCI use for it’s barrels a high quality Certified European carbon steel and stainless steel.

Materials grades as: GKH, ARMAD (CrMoV martensitic steel grade) and 416R and APX4 (martensitic stainless-steel grade). All materials are present a highly isotropic structure giving the material equivalent tensile, ductility and toughness properties.

Process

The process starts from new specially designed automatic CNC machines for step by step gun manufacturing process: deep drilling, pull-reaming, precise honing and buttoning or cut-rifling process depends particular weapon application.

Plasma nitriding process

DCI supports for its barrels the Plasma nitriding process is purposed to increase steel surface hardness and decrease abrasion. After Plasma nitriding process the barrel life increases in double.
