The Infantry-Ground-Mount Tripod (Dual Purpose – ground and anti-aircraft) model: “DT-2M” and model: “DT-3M” was designed according to the technological documentation for mounting 12,7×108 mm heavy machine gun type “DShKM” and others modifications includes 12,7×108 mm HMG Cugir “T114” and 12,7×108 mm HMG “DNM-127/01”. All manufactured parts and components, as well as raw materials, are quality tested in accordance with the ISO standard.
Technical description
The Infantry-ground-mount tripod (IGMT) “DT-2M” is designed for mounting 12,7×108 mm heavy machine gun types: “DShKM” and other modifications include: 12,7X108 mm Cugir “T114” and 12,7X108 mm HMG “DNM-127/01”.
The IGMT “DT-2M” consist of:

- Possibility for horizontal fire: 360°;
- Possibility for vertical fire: + (63°-65°)/- (5°-7°);
- Possibility to fix the MG in any position
- Compact, light design with damper assembly, high precision of fire, easy to mount/dismount
- Possibility to fix the MG in any position
- Tripod consists of three folding legs that can be adjusted in 3x positions: upper- position (include anti-aircraft position), low-ground, and stowed position.
- Dimensions in fire position with the HMG, mm:
- High fire position from the ground: 1500 mm
- Low fire position from the ground: 2100×1100 mm
